4 New Exciting Hyundai Cars Coming Soon!

The Korean automaker, Hyundai has had a busy 2024 with IPO listing and new model launches. The brand launched updates to its popular SUVs the Creta and Alcazar in 2024 and is now expected to bring in new models starting from January 2025. The automaker is expected to launch as many as 4 new models in the country in 2025. When are they coming? Let’s discuss about upcoming Hyundai cars!

Upcoming Hyundai Cars – Creta EV

Every Creta fan in the country is eagerly waiting to witness the launch of the Creta EV. Scheduled to launch by early 2025, the Creta EV will have some EV specific changes like a closed grille, tweaked bumpers and new alloy wheels among others. Said that, other details will be similar to its Creta ICE variant. Likewise the exteriors, Creta EV will share its interior features with the Creta ICE model including level 2 ADAS suite, dual-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM along with certain EV specific features like V2V and V2L charging functions. 

Moreover, the Creta EV will be powered with a 45 kWh battery pack with an estimated range of around 450 km.

Hyundai Inster EV

Hyundai Inster EV has been unveiled in the global markets and is expected to arrive in India by late 2025 or 2026. Once launched, the Hyundai Inster EV will take on the likes of Tata Punch EV. This EV will be based on the brands E-GMP platform which will be shared by Hyundai and Kia globally to introduce small EVs globally. 

The Hyundai Inster EV will be available with two battery packs- 42 kWh and 49 kWh, while the base variant offers 95 bhp, the long range variant is rated for 113 bhp. The new Hyundai small EV is expected to offer a claimed range of 300-355 km on a single charge.

Upcoming Hyundai Cars – Hyundai Venue ICE/ EV

Currently, media reports suggest Hyundai is working on the Venue EV model. Once launched it will take on the Tata Nexon EV in the country. Talking about the changes, Hyundai Venue EV will get a reworked exterior design including EV-specific grille, updated bumpers, reworked lamps etc. On the inside, it will be packed with new tech, and likely be just as roomy as the outgoing car. 

Apart from EVs Hyundai will also be introducing the new gen Venue by 2025. The new gen Hyundai will be based on the same platform used currently. Talking about the changes, the SUV will come with all-new styling and cosmetic changes along with new features on the inside. This will also be the first model to be produced at the company’s new manufacturing facility that was acquired from GM. Talking about the powertrain, the new Venue is expected to be mechanically similar.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios – EV / ICE 

Just like the Hyundai Venue, the Grand i10 Nios hatch is also expected to get updates during the coming year. Currently, the Grand i10 Nios has witnessed a certain decline in numbers, so updating the model with a facelift will be beneficial for the brand. While we can expect the Grand i10 to get a new generation, we expect the model to get new structural changes along with introducing new features on the inside to not make it look old. 

Interestingly, Hyundai is also exploring potential electric versions of the grand i10 Nios. Talking about changes, expect Hyundai to provide EV treatment with its specific changes on the exteriors and interiors. Moreover, the new Grand i10 EV can get additional features like a big touchscreen infotainment and better safety features among others in its EV iteration. While Hyundai has not revealed much information about the upcoming Grand i10 hatch EV we expect it to be priced aggressively to compete with the Tiago EV.
