New RE Bike Spotted – What’s New
Recently, the upcoming RE electric motorcycle spy shots have surfaced on the internet. The upcoming motorcycle will be based on the brand’s Electrik 01 concept. It is the first time the new RE bike has been spotted. Talking about the spy shots, the images reveal the upcoming RE bike to have a retro profile with the brand’s signature circular headlamp and mirrors. The bike gets a circular LED headlamp unit along with circular LED indicators and a circular instrument cluster, which is expected to be borrowed from the new RE bikes. The design of the new model is in line with the design patent that was recently leaked.
Talking about other features, we can see the bike comes with a single seat option along and a classic fuel tank design. The bike also features Girder forks similar to the old RE Flying Flea motorcycle. Apart from these, the bike gets skinny tyres which seems to be new for RE. However, spotting have just revealed the design language of the upcoming motorcycle, we expect the new model to get some new features like riding modes, and instrument cluster to be more informative showcasing estimated range, remaining battery and a Bluetooth connectivity among others.

Currently the brand has only revealed teasers for the upcoming RE electric motorcycle, we expect more information to be revealed in the coming time.
What Else?
As the design of the bike is based on the legendary Flying Flea used during world war 2, the electric motorcycle could get its name. In terms of performance, the first Royal Enfield electric motorcycle can be comparable to the brand’s popular 350cc ICE motorcycles. Additionally, the brand will also reveal details regarding the estimated range during the global unveil.
According to the Industry rumours, RE is also working on the electric version of Himalayan 450. As of now there are no announcements from the brand about its upcoming electric bike based on Himalayan, it is expected to provide more range as it will be a tourer.
