The seven seater SUV segment is now slowly growing in Indian market. The trend of launching a 7-seater version of a 5-seater SUV started in the market last year when MG decided to launch Hector Plus. Later the trend was followed by manufacturers like Tata and Hyundai. Manufacturers like Mahindra and Jeep will also be coming with 7-seater SUVs in the market soon. Tata Safari which got launched earlier this year is a popular SUV in segment. It is now a commonly spotted SUV on our roads and here we have a video where the genuine accessories for the Safari are shown.
The video has been uploaded by Ujjwal Saxena on his YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about all the accessories that are available with the Safari from dealership. He also mentions the price of each accessory that is shown in this video.

He starts with the front. Tata is offering a bumper corner protector. This is basically a set of four chrome garnishes that are placed on the corner of the bumper. The cost of these bumper corner protector is Rs 2,072. Next he moves to the side profile where more accessories are available for the SUV. Tata is offering a door visor for the Safari. This is a genuine accessory from Tata and the cost of it is Rs 4,999. The door visor comes in a set of six and has chrome lining in it.
Next accessory for Safari is the body side molding. The beading of molding is actually finished in chrome and the cost of it is Rs 3,934. Tata is also offering mud flaps which cost around Rs 1,050. A foot step is also offered as a genuine accessory for Safari. The cost of foot step for Safari is around Rs 18,989.
Vlogger then moves to the rear profile of the Safari and shows accessories available here. A chrome garnish is available for fake exhaust tips on the bumper and it costs Rs 1,779. At the rear, a chrome applique is available for Safari which can be pasted above the tail light and the gloss black strip connecting the tail lights. This particular accessory costs Rs 2,130.
Inside the car, Tata is offering floor mats with Safari branding on them. The price of these carpet type floor mats is Rs 2,999. Tata is also offering a body cover for Safari as an accessory and the price for that is Rs 3,505. Tata Safari is based on the 5-seater Harrier which was launched in 2019. It has been a successful product for Tata in Indian market and both Safari and Harrier offer similar set of features. Safari offers a touchscreen infotainment screen, multi-function steering wheel, electrically adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, large panoramic sunroof, leather wrapped seats and so on.
Both Safari and Harrier are powered by the same engine. It uses a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 170 Ps and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automatic transmission option. The same engine is also used in Jeep Compass and MG Hector as well.
